Ville Valo-Kun Minä Kotoani Läksin(Finnish)
Ville Valo-Kun Minä Kotoani Läksin
The song is called, roughly translated,”When I Left my Home” and it can be found by the compilation album called “Synkkien Laulujen Maa”(Land of the Dark Songs, translated).
Ville Valo(front man in HIM) is singing, this were done before HIM, but the videos clips are from several HIM videos.
Lyrics:
English: When I left my home, then clouds were casting their shadows.(x2)
And the world offered me the most bitter fate of all.(x2)
At the village’s festivities I got to know a girl.(x2)
And I will never forget the shine of these blue eyes.(x2)
And my longing will not fade away here among strangersBefore the thorny rose blooms by my grave.(x2)
~ I don’t understand much of it but still this is one of my favorite songs that he preforms in Finnish..*sight* so sad, so emotionally, melancholic..so Finnish?

First off, just because we are Scandinavians doesn’t make us Satanists.
how Christian he is, is not up to me to say.
I totally understand where the guy geats his ideas from, maybe from some of their songs like “your sweet 666″. your understanding of HIM songs is personal, but still theirs is a message or a meaning in those songs that Valo writes. in this case
“I’m waiting for your call and I’m ready to take your
Six six six in my heart
And I’m longing for your touch and I welcome your sweet
Six six six in my heart”
is more about starting a realationship and accept the other persons “demons”. HIM lyrics are so much more then just the words, there are so many things and stories hidden between the lines.

uhm i hate to break it to you… but Valo is an agnostic.

Yeah, Ville Valo isn’t religious at all. He talks about it in the Digital Versatile Doom especially. He claims that he doesn’t really need a savior, when he has the whole world around him.. people, and their stories and their pasts, etc.
